The Battle of Trafalgar (21 October 1805) was a naval engagement fought by the British Royal Navy against the combined fleets of the French and Spanish Navies during the Napoleonic Wars (1803–1815).
The victory confirmed British naval supremacy and was achieved in part through Admiral Lord Nelson's departure from prevailing naval tactical orthodoxy. Conventional battle tactics anticipated opposing fleets engaging each other in single parallel lines to facilitate signaling, disengagement and to maximize fields of fire. Nelson brilliantly arranged his ships into opposing columns that directly engaged the enemy fleets’ line.
Like the legendary admiral, we are prepared to confront challenging assignments and opportunities directly and without compromise. Trust Trafalgar to help you make headway despite the most challenging circumstances.
As Nelson famously said, “England expects that every man will do his duty,” and that is the type of esprit de corps we impart to every client engagement.1
